Season Starts 21 November 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registrations are now open.\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>To register for Wantirna LAC goto the member portal on the Little Aths Vic website <br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/memberdesq.sportstg.com\/index.cfm?fuseaction=login&amp;OrgID=1370\">https:\/\/memberdesq.sportstg.com\/index.cfm?fuseaction=login&amp;OrgID=1370<\/a><br \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For new Athletes click on New Member<br \/>Select Knox as your Centre, then select Wantirna LAC as your club, you can then follow the prompts and it will take you through to payments and finalising your registration<br \/>For new members please be aware that you are able to trial for two weeks with the Centre before committing to the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For existing members you will have a renewal email from LAVic. In order for your children to compete on the first day of competition you will need to register by Wednesday November 18.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once athletes register they will be sent out a calendar to prepare for the season, as well as some information on the protocols that will be in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Some important dates to put in your calendar are<\/strong>:<br \/><br \/><strong>Sunday November 8 \u00a0&#8211; 10am &#8211; working bee\u00a0<\/strong>($30 working bee levy refunded for registered families only)<br \/><strong>Monday November 9 &#8211; training commences\u00a0<\/strong>(you must be a registered athlete to be eligible to train.\u00a0Numbers are also limited. Please see Knox website)<br \/><strong>Saturday November 14 &#8211; 8.30am &#8211; Chief Official training<\/strong><br \/><strong>Saturday November 14 &#8211; 10am &#8211; try out day<\/strong><br \/><strong>Saturday November 21 &#8211; 8.30am &#8211; first day of competition for 20\/21 season<\/strong><br \/><br \/>If you have not done so already, please follow Wantirna and Knox LACs on Facebook. This is updated regularly with all the latest information. \u00a0<br \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Roles to be filled this year<\/strong><br \/>We do need to fill some roles at the club for this season including a minimum number a Chief Officials.  Jobs that\u00a0<strong>must<\/strong>\u00a0be filled are:<br \/><strong>Chief Official &#8211; front straight marshal x 2<\/strong><br \/><strong>Chief Official &#8211; discus\/shot<\/strong><br \/><strong>Duty roster manager<\/strong><br \/><strong>Uniform manager<\/strong>\u00a0*(not a necessity, but help is needed once other roles are filled)<br \/><br \/>Please keep in mind that this is a shorter season with only 13 weeks of normal competition. This means that you will only need to do duty a minimum of 4 times. If you have an interest in helping out the chief officials role are easy to do and is a constant duty for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Covid 19 Protocols<\/strong><br \/>The Knox LAC committee have been working overtime to produce a lot of protocols that meet the requirements to return to a COVID normal competition.
