{"id":1695,"date":"2020-06-21T12:39:02","date_gmt":"2020-06-21T02:39:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wantirna.klac23.org.au\/wordpress\/?p=1695"},"modified":"2020-06-21T12:39:02","modified_gmt":"2020-06-21T02:39:02","slug":"la-vic-announcement-2020-state-cross-country-championships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wantirna.klac23.org.au\/wordpress\/?p=1695","title":{"rendered":"LA VIC Announcement &#8211; 2020 State Cross Country Championships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klac23.org.au\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/event-2.0-2020-state-cross-country-championships-1.jpg?resize=503%2C281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Victorian State Government recently announced a further easing of COVID-19 restrictions from the 22nd June, which allows for the resumption of children\u2019s sporting competition.<\/p>\n<p>LAVic is currently waiting on further detailed advice from Sport &amp; Recreation Victoria on this.<\/p>\n<p>LAVic has announced that the 2020 State Cross-Country Championships will be now be held on Saturday 22nd August at Lake Dewar Lodge, Myrniong. The qualification will be by direct entry, and the event will also include a \u2018Virtual State Cross-Country Relay\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>All other details, inclusive of the registration portal, will be released in coming days. Additionally, the LAVic membership portal will be opening up again soon to accept Cross-Country memberships.<\/p>\n<p>Further details on this will also be released shortly.
