The Knox LAC Cross Country season is well under way with a number of Wantirna athletes involved in the weekly cross country events. Athletes can still join in the CC season and for those who registered for the T&F season there is no additional cost to do Cross Country. For those athletes doing cross country, a reminder that entries for the ConnectEast Open Day and the State Championships close shortly so check the Knox LAC website for details.
Following the Clubs AGM in April, a new Committee for 11/12 has been formed and details of the new Committee ( including contact details) are now on the website. Without an organized Committee the club cannot exist and function and our thanks to those parents who have put their hands up and joined the Committee and thanks also to those parents who served on the previous Committee(s), some for a number of years and who have moved on to other pursuits Our thanks also to those parents also assisting as Chief Officials – again without these officials events do not happen and the Club wishes to thank these dedicated officials.
Details concerning the upcoming 11/12 T&F season will be posted on the website when available but it is anticipated that Registration Day will be in early September. Keep watching this space.

Wantirna is one of eleven teams within the Knox Little Athletics Centre
Little Athletics recognises that children vary widely in shape, size and athletic ability, and is thus one of few sports that successfully caters for them all. The Little Athletics motto is "Family, Fun and Fitness". It is also the most affordable junior sport as well! Age groups range from Under 7 to Under 16
We welcome new members to join us. No previous athletic ability or experience is necessary.

Knox Park offers all track and field events during the spring/summer season, though we compete throughout the year with Cross Country run at local venues during autumn/winter.
